This little family burial grounds was started by the Joel Pressel family. Joel and his brother John came to Henry County from Montgomery Co. Ohio in early 1824 and purchased land adjoining each other in Liberty Township, Joel in section #35 and John in section #34. The Wilbur Wright Road separates the two properties.
This burial ground is located at about 7200 East on CR #300S on the Richard Hostetler farm.
It has probably never been cleaned or maintained for many, many years. It is completely overgrown with briars, bramble and other noxious vegetation. It is in a very sad shape.
